Power plant

For the SeaBear, two Rotax 915 iSc turbocharged, direct injection engines are foreseen. Each engine will deliver a take-off power of 104 kW (141 PS) at 5,800 rpm. The continuous power will be 99 kW (135 PS) at 5,500 rpm, the Service ceiling 23,000 feet.

The Rotax 915 iSc is one of the the most modern aircraft engines on the market and due to its low weight (85 kg), its high specific power and low fuel consumption (approx. 20 L/h at cruising power) the ideal engine for this plane.

Details on the engine can be found here or on the manufacturer’s webpage.
